Building on Unley's Past... Committed to Unley's Future
Dear Resident,
I ask you to vote for me as Mayor at the 2006 Council elections.
My family and I live and operate a business in Unley. Like you we are Unley stakeholders.
My record shows that I am committed to Unley’s future and I have the knowledge and experience to make that future happen. I have served on Council for 24 years, including 14 years as Mayor.
I believe Unley needs a Mayor with energy, commitment and – above all – proven experience and leadership skills.
As Mayor, I have listened to the community. As a resident, I have shared your experiences and expectations.
Unley needs to be managed by a Mayor who can deliver a consensus form of government. It cannot afford to experience the strife and personality driven in fighting that many of our neighbouring Councils have experienced.

Michael Keenan chatting with Unley residents
During my time as Mayor, Council has been a consensus organisation. Differences are worked through sensibly and logically.
As your Mayor, I have already demonstrated my ability to meet challenges. I have fought to protect your lifestyle, values and aspirations. For 14 years we have worked together to make Unley a desirable and much sought after place to live.
I ask that you cast your vote for me in the 2006 Council elections so that Unley Council maintains this enviable reputation and continues to pursue excellence though my leadership of inclusive, stable and effective consensual government.
Yours sincerely
Michael Keenan
